Let's put it this way: if you could read any language fluently, and
you were *forced* to read one of those re-re-re-prints, which comic
book would you chose? If you wanted to own the best edition of one
of said re-re-re-prints in a language that you cannot read, which one
would you chose? Chances are that the answer to both questions would
be KOMIX. [Note, however, that in Greece it is the Scarpa and the other
italian stories that are actually the re-re-re-prints (or just re-prints).
Most of the Barks and Rosa stuff (especially the latter) are published
for the first time.]

Although I share your sentiments about KOMIX offering little to someone
who owns a full run of Gladstone's output, I am amazed that many readers
of the list are aware of KOMIX, and even own an issue or two.

You could always sign that petition started by a bunch of (Portuguese?)
Euro MP's to start teaching Greek in all European schools, so that it
can become the official EU language. ;-)

If the Danes got this wrong, I shudder to think what will happen when
KOMIX gets around to printing that story, since both the language and
the story context are totally foreign to us. :-(

I don't want to be pessimistic, but I seem to remember that KOMIX did not use
your input when they printed the Lo$. :-(
