It is now the effective one-year anniversary of the publication of the last
Gladstone Disney comics.
A year ago we expected a relatively short hiatus, a month or two, in the
publication of Disney comics in the US. Some of us here at Gladstone, by
dint of experience, were inclined to double our even triple that estimate,
but to have an entire *year* go by...
The reasons for the holdup will make fascinating reading for future law
students, I'm sure. For those of us who just want to get on with doing
comics, all we want to know is 1) will we? and 2) if so, how soon? That's
something not even the lawyers can tell us at this point.
But the negotiating process continues, and it is a great credit to Steve
Geppi and his people that they have stuck with it.

I like this paragraph. I like it so much I decided to make sure it appears
more than once on the mailing list. Hope you don't mind.
