What's in a name?

Hi all,
It's been pretty quiet. Are you guys on silent strike or what? ;-)
Btw just curious. You know Scrooge Mc Duck?
Well, if you don't, don't bother. Just kiddin.
i understand that the ducks' stories are currently reprinted over and over
again in various countries spread across this blue globe. Now, i understand
that in my country that Scrooge name has been translated which meant Scrooge
Duck.
No "Mc" in the name whatsoever. Okay, everybody knows that things like this
happen in several countries. This Mc-less name has brought troubles to the
stories which are Mc-heavy, eg Lo$. Therefore the translations have been
changed to somewhat irrational lines. This has caused the differentation
family line between Donald Duck and Scrooge Duck a bit blur. that's why my
country's versions of Lo$ parts a bit confusing, like how can you explain
The last of Clan Duck while there're DD and HDL Duck???
Anyway, i would like to know how other countries with similar translations
get away with this problem. Do they -for the purpose of the story- make an
exception and include the Mc in Scrooge name? Or perhaps some other more
logical way to make the story more acceptable?
