I can't believe at the level of "snippy" and rude comments that have been
placed on this list recently by so many people!  I don't post on here
often, but enough is enough!  It's not the least bit interesting and/or
informative to hear (I assume) mature adults bickering like little
children.

Don Rosa has told me himself that many times he doesn't post on this list
because people often take what he says out of context, which I've seen
happen here on many occasions.  Once I admit, I even did it myself (the
Scrooge dying thing).  Just because Don happens to write and draw Disney
comics doesn't mean that his opinion is any more valid than the rest of
ours.  I don't think he thinks his opinion is, and if anyone else feels
that is the case........well, then I suppose it's no one's fault but
their own.  

And really, who are we to say to someone if something they post is
entertaining or not?  Really, now is that our place?  Have we forgotten
that this is meant as a gathering place for people of common interests?  

In closing I feel almost as ridiculous and childish as those who make big
deals out of these things for even acknowledging that they posted these
malicious messages.  I apologize if I put words in anyone's mouth by
writing this, but I think I speak for at least some members of this list
when I say "Enough already!!!"  If you don't agree with anything that
I've said here, that is your right, and I don't have the right to tell
you what you can or cannot post.  But know in advance, that I will have
no reply to any negative thing any of you may have to say about this
post.  My mind is made up, and that's pretty much the end of it as far as
I'm concerned.  

whew..........I feel better now.  now i will step of my soap box, and go
back to lurking :-)
