And no one has come up with an explanation yet. Everyone was as puzzled as
I was by the scene? Why wasn't the editor puzzled? It must mean
*something* -- there must be *some* explanation. They wouldn't put such a
bizarre scene on a cover without a reason. Would they?

Y'know, that sounds like an accident waiting to happen. Somebody is gonna
get their eye put out, mark my words.

AKU ANKKA used the excellent coloring done by the French... but that means
they had to use ALL the coloring, including the elements that are usually
colored differently in the French comics. Also, the French know that I want
the Money Bin coins to be silver and copper so they color them that way for
my stories, and they even put a "$" on the Bin rather than a "f" which is
nice of them. The AKU ANKKA staff has the computer know-how to go in and
change a few things in France's computer-coloring.... in fact, they do
super coloring themselves, as seen on the covers I've done for them. I
guess I could have suggested colors that should be changed in the French
version, but I did not do so. The Finns, nice as they are, probably
wouldn't mind if I suggested a few small changes -- f'rinstance, in France
they often color the Beagle Boys as if they are wearing white gloves like
they stumbled out of a Mickey Mouse comic... and that looks odd in my
stories since I often draw fingernails and hair on the backs of the BB's
hands... and nailed, hairy gloves look really creepy.
