>>>Don:
I think you should add rooms to show how Scrooge is mean. For example, he
could have a huge room oriented to RECICLYNG all the papers, pencils' chip,
and so, used in his office.

Believe it or not, I already have that in my plans (suggested by Duckfan
extrodinaire Elli Kotovirta, the Finnish-girl-with-braids who is
responsible for me doing that Kalevala story).

From: "Apostolis Trikourakis"
>>>That'll be nice of you :-) Nobody will be displeased then!

Hahahahahaha!!! You should be me for a day! One thing I've learned is that
no matter WHAT you do, you won't please the people who are determined to
not be pleased. That's life...

>>>But I'm confused
with the number of floors the Bin have. Is it 2-3 or 10-12 or more?

Well, I wasn't gonna criticize the plans you sketched, but I was sorta
shocked to see only 3 floors! You thought the Bin might be only about 30
feet tall? How could that hold 100 ft. of cash? There's more than 30 ft.
just *above* the money level.
And, as I calculate there is about 30 ft. above the 100 ft. of money, my
plans call for either 12 or 13 stories. And I already have enough stuff to
fill almost all those. Yes, several floors are just vast seas of office
workers or files or such. (Be forewarned: my Bin plans will be interesting,
but NOT very exciting!)

>>>To DON ROSA:
Concerning the Bin's dimensions, we have two conflicting evidences:
1- the depth gauge is 100 feet high, hence the vault should
measure
              about 120 feet in height;
           2- in the Bin there are 3 cubic acres of cash;
Of course, 3 cubic acres is not a real measure, but if it were, then
the Bin should be about 3 times as big: 360 feet.
You seem to have chosen the evidence of the depth gauge, ignoring the
other fact. Is it so? Or is there a way to respect both statements?

Yes, I go by the depth guage since that has been used so often, so clearly,
I could hardly ignore it. And I think Barks' exterior views of the Bin have
always looked like they were of an approximately 12 +- story structure. If
anyone can think of how to also respect the 3 cubic acres of cash bit,
lemmee know.

>>>What if he had designed in there sort of a scenography, portraying
the places he loved best, such as The Blackjack Ballroom, McDuck
Castle, and so on.

In his bedroom is one particular little "shrine" with an eternal flame. But
wait... you'll see.

From: "Apostolis Trikourakis"
>>>The Golden Fleecing: On page 10, panel 2, we can see Scrooge saying
(according to the Greek translation): "I don't believe you. We are in the
20th floor!".

Oh, jeeze! I need to check that one! (But if it's true, I'll need to just
ignore it! I can't see the place being so tall.)

>>>Island in the Sky: On page 1, panel 1, we can see a door to the roof.
It's
in the middle of the roof.

Got it. I've always drawn it that way.

>>>The Money Champ (US 27): On page 4, panels 7 & 8, and on page 5, panel
1, we
can see a Diamond's fountain and a skier's racetrack (but I'm sure that the
Bin doesn't have a fountain and a racetrack!)

Right!

>>>The Mines of King Solomon (US 19): On page 1, panels 1,2 and 4, we can
see
an "Army" of employees. So, the Bin must have a lot of offices

Nope. $crooge does it in 1902 style. Single room floors with seas of desks.

>>>Microducks from Outer Space (US 65): There is a small safe with samples
from
Scrooge's plantations (page 7, panel 3).

Safes are like furniture, not structural elements.
