Duckburg in Denmark

 I must say that I don't consider myself a Donaldist or a Barksist
(though I must say that I am closer to a Barksist if I had to choose one
of the two.)  In fact I've never given much thought to when the stories
take place or where they take place.  But it seems obvious to me that the
stories take place in the USA.  Perhaps this is because I live here and
it's easier for me to visualize the stories taking place in this country.
 

I thought Calisota was mentioned more than once, but I suppose I was
wrong.  I am aware of the numerous references to the ducks living in
Burbank.  There are also many instances where the ducks *drive* their
cars to a place in the USA.  (The Rip Van Winkle WDC&S story comes to
mind)  To me, Duckburg will always be in the USA, but I suppose my
opinion is biased............
