I like it when a story takes an unexpected turn, but I'm less than thrilled 
when an established "good guy" turns psychotic (Emerald Twilight, anyone?).  
I consider that to be telling a story with the wrong characters.

Actually, it's when the superheroes fail to set an example that I turn to 
Disney comics.  I've found that I much prefer "Marvin the Monkey" to "Super 
Snooper".
