Does anyone know the background behind "doggone"?
"Doggone" or "Dog gone" is one of the most classic of
Donald Ducks expressions in the animated shorts.
I think Carl Barks got hus "diggon" from the
shorts.
Is "doggone" something unique to
Donald (Clarence Nash?) or was it common in
America in the thirties/forties?
