MIME Format Postings

Certainly. It quite annoyed me that my first messages were plagued by
this html code.

I don't know what MIME stands for exactly, but it has to do with the possibility
of  adding html things to your message-- font, italics, background, ...
Links work fine in non-MIME.

To post a non-MIME message, look in the "Format" menu of  the message for
a choice between MIME and "Plain Text" (I don't know the exact name, my version
in in French). You can also select it for all your messages in the Options menu of
your e-mail software.
