Indeed interesting experiment. Spiegel's and Murry's styles don't fit
together, that´s for sure. I think they should've come closer to each other:
bit more realistically drawn Mickey and Goofy and a bit more stylished
humans.
I just wonder the logic of Disney/Western editors. First they say to Barks
that he can´t use real humans and then it´s OK to do Mickey interacting with
extremelly realistic human characters.
In many newspaper strips, both with mice and ducks, you can find many human
characters (no black nose).
BTW: sometimes Beagle Boys have floppy dog's ears and sometimes normal human
ears. why´s that? I think Barks always drew them with normal ears.
