Yes. And btw. Iceland is usually regarded as a "Scandinavian" country.
Political struggle forced people from Northern Norway to colonize iceland,
and from there they migrated to Greenland and even North America..
The Viking Helmet that Donald discovers in a certain famous Barks comic
is surely northern Norwegian or Icelandic in origin.

Not to _my_ knowledge. Btw. in that case it would be "Norwegian gods"
instead of "Norse gods".
The Norse pantheon of gods were spread fairly even throughout todays
scandinavia, everywhere where you could find Vikings and todays northern
Germany - even though there was big differences between the german kind
and the viking kind.
In northern Scandinavia (northern Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia
actually)
there are the Sami people (formerly known to us outsiders as "Laplanders"
today
often a slightly derogatory term) with a completely different religion (more
like
native american indians religion than the Norse one.)
Well.. this is going waaaay off topic so I think I'll stop there.. :-)
If someone want's to know more I recommend a history book, or
private E-mail.. :-)
