Donald was hung

I am being told that I have made a very straneg sentence there. 
In the cartoon I talked about Daisy made a trap, and Donald steps in
it, and discovers her then, when he's hanging, upside down - lifts his
hat and says hello. I recall somewhat the same scene being in Marco
Rota's story of a Life in an eggshell. 
I have no idea what coherences my sentence may have... any of them
wasn't intended.
