Early Mouse and continiuty

  After searching information asbout Disney's early Mickey Mouse 
shorts(1928-1930) I searched the Inducks for the first comic strips stories 
of 1930.There are only five indexed from YM 000-004.Is any of the facts of 
this stories important for the evolution of Mickey?Is any origin of him 
presented?
  There seems to be a lot of changes in the creator department of this 
year.The creators contributing in this stories appear to be:
1)Win Smith.
2)Walt Disney.
3)Ub Iwerks.
4)Floyd Gottfredson.
5)Jack King.
6)Hardie Gramatky.
7)Earl Duvall.
Seven creartors for only five stories?Why was this place in the comic strips 
department of Disney unwanted?How did Floyd Gottfredson ended up doing this 
job for years if he thought it ewas only temporary?
