Dear Kriton,

this is not impossible. Take the example of an excellent chessplayer, who can memorize thousands of
chess-games, but has problems to remember more than 10 names.

Memory is "specific", there is nothing like a good or bad memory per se.

My own memory is good in matters concerning my profession or my interests, but very bad at other
subjects.

If Scrooge's memory is excellent in remembering details about his money (for example he remembers the
story of each of his coins, see "Only a Poor old Man), that does not mean he remembers things not
connected with his money.
