April, May & June make their cartoon debut on HOM!

I know this is primarily a "comics" mailing List, but like the Phantom Blot,
Chief O'Hara and a few other previously "exclusively" comicbook
characters, Daisy's nieces finally made their cartoon debut on Saturday,
Feb. 23, 2002 on the "Lady's Night" episode of HOUSE OF MOUSE!

Of course, it was a non-speaking/non-acting role. 'cause as the title of
the episode implies, ALL of the "boys" had the night off from duties to
the production of the nightclub HOM.  The chores were turned over to
their particular counterparts, Mickey to Minnie, Donald to Daisy and,
sadly, Goofy to Clarabelle.  The HOM house band is usually the "boy
band" The Quackstreet Boys (aka Quacking Pumpkins) Huey, Dewey
& Louie, so to fill in for them, Daisy got her nieces April, May and June
to entertain the house's audience.  Here is a picture of them:

Hopefully, now that they have broken the barrier, they will make more
appearances in animated programming, maybe even in a Daisy Duck
or Donald Duck cartoon giving them actual lines and acting?
