Is there still any hope realistically? If not, what about a limited
edition
collection of Don Rosa's new work not already published in the U. S.?

But that would be one and the same idea. If there is no license granted for
large-scale publication of Disney comics in North America, then there
cannot be a "limited edition" of the handful of my (or anyone's) stories
not seen on these shores. Disney is not gonna grant a license to publish
*one* book. The main part of the problem is that they don't even want to
grant a license to publish Disney comics on a "large" scale here, because,
in America, that scale would not be large enough to make them enough money
that would be of interest to them. So, the idea of granting a license to
publish one piddly lil' book that would be bought by a few thousand comic
fans through small comic shops would be laughable to them.
