English language Disney comics do exist!
Jeff Peckham recently returned from Singapore where he bought the
following:

The three issues of MICKEY MOUSE I picked up (#54-56) are all 100 page
digests, with coated cardstock covers, and a printed cover price of 30
Rupees.

The indicia of #55 says: "Copyright Disney Enterprises, Inc.
Published by Egmont Imagination (India) Ltd., Dani Wooltex Compound,
158, Vidyanagiri Marg, Kalina, Santacruz (E), Mumbai - 400 09, India,
under licence from WD Consumer Products, a division of WD India Pvt.
Ltd. All Rights Reserved. Printed at Manipal Press Limited, Manipal."

Despite being titled MICKEY MOUSE, all the stories in the books were
Donald Duck stories. Mickey and Goofy only appeared on puzzle pages a
few of which appeared in each issue. All the lettering in the books
were clearly typeset, including the sound effects.

No word on whether any of these stories were by Don Rosa.
Bob Hughes
