No need. I watched The Beverly Hillbilllies, Petticoat Junction, Green 
Acres, Hee Haw and Andy Griffith (clear through its Mayberry R.F.D. 
incarnation) religiously throughout their first runs. I know what I 
liked about 'em at the time, but except for the black-and-white Andy 
Griffiths I can't stomach 'em today.

Well, I do still love the "grunion run" episode of The Beverly 
Hillbillies; few things beat it for unadulterated lunacy.

All right, very off topic, this. But Granny Clampett would have said it 
was "Pizen Bluff" sure enough, and woe to anyone who would have dared 
misguidedly correct her.
