In #5 of the Swedish Kalle Anka & c:o ( most resembles WDC ) there is a 
parody/homage to Orson Welles "The war of the worlds", called "The war 
of the planets"

SPOILER WARNING

In this story Duckburg is staging a giant outdoor play of this book 
because it is 100 years since it was written. Gyro has made a copy of 
one of the Marsian war machines. You maybe remember that it was a giant 
tripod. Anyhow at this same moment Venus is about to attack the earth. 
And here is a homage to Linda and Valentin, the Venusian space ships are 
more or less copies of the space ship that Linda and Valentin has.

Great I thought but is it really allowed to copy like that ?

Anyhow the Venusians attack but see the Marsian tripod and thinks that 
Earth and Mars has a pact. This scares them of saying that they were 
just kidding and have a nice day.
