Eer.. but apparently it looks like the Finnish weekly
Aku Ankka decided not to publish your story - atleast
in number AA2003-26.
Since the Finnish weekly is not a direct copy of
it's Swedish/Danish siblings (has less pages), it's
editors are making selections about the stories
to be published.
Usually the first leading stories go directly to our
weekly (with exeptions though). This week we had Vicar's
12-pager (D 2001-118) written by Janet Gilbert
(stunning art, by the way). According to INDUCKS
D/D 2001-013 is a 14-pager Nunez story:
D D 2001-013 14 A -> MSN ? BB Being Donald Duck
[xapp:GY,BB,DD,US,QF] [writ:Olaf Solstrand] [xref:W WDC 249-01]
So far regular 8-pager Nunez Beagle Boys stories
(written by McGreals) are being published here in
a month since they were in Swedish/Danish weeklies.
In this case - I don't know. In a past for some reason
the Finnish editors have rarely valuated Nunez's Duck
stories or the scripts high enough to be published.
(the Beagle Boys stories are in a different league)
Just past few weeks among the brand new stories our
weekly has also released a couple "older" unpublished
material. This week it had 10-pager Ferioli story
(D 2000-111) seen originally in Swedish/Danish weeklies
2001/28. (nice) Two weeks ago there was a Manrique story
(Ferioli-style Duck-artist) from year 2000.
So there's still hope for us (?)
- Simo
