Middle names in Duckburg

Hi all!

Lately here on DCML, there have been some discussions related to the use of
middle names in Duckburg. Such names are very seldom in Barks' and Rosa's
stories. I can think of only one example; John D. Rockerduck. The D probably
stands for "Davison" as in John D. Rockefeller, or it can be just a D, just
like the S in Harry S Truman. The reason for the lacking middle names in
Duckburg is probably the same reason Don Rosa avoided using the same name
for multiple characters in his family tree; it would be pointlessly
confusing – remember this is about comics characters, not about real living
people.

However Scrooge can really call him self Scrooge D. McDuck even in Don
Rosa's universe as his mother's family name is O'Drake. I would guess that
such O's are removed when such family names are used as middle names.
Scrooge are thus IMO entitled to call himself: Scrooge Drake McDuck. However
I have never seen that name in use anywhere, so there is IMO no reason what
so ever to use it for us either.
