TPB vs Album format

hmm, i must have missed the begining of this thread...
          what are we defining as the difference between the two?

as far as i can tell by the words: an album (collection?) is probably some 
sort of TPB 

(a TPB is a paperback in non-pocketbook format - as defined by the ABA)
