Hmmm... for some reason I can't figure Neil Gaiman doing Disney...
but maybe rather a Magica De Spell story...

Alan Moore, now, I'm sure he could make something very original
with Disney characters...

Jeff Smith no, please. I'm sure he'd do well, but I'm just too
old to wait for him to finish anything (given up on Bone several
years ago).

Dave Sim would be great, imagine a Donald Duck vs. Cerebus story...
or the Hernandez bros. doing a punk Grandma Duck... :-)

But if Gemstone (or any publisher at that) would really try
with this idea of "Guest Stars" (which I find quite intriguing),
the very first name I would like to see invited is that of
Will Eisner. I'm sure he could do a "serious" Mickey and/or
a pretty convincing Scrooge.

Moebius is another guy who could do VERY good Disneys, I
believe, and writer Jean Van Hamme could do just about anything.
