Oh yes, that's a beautiful drawing.
It's reproduced 125 of "Don Rosa et il Rinascimento Disneyano" (Becattini,
Gori, Stajano).
I'd say the one holding a hat is a journalist (pencils in his shirt pocket,
and maybe a "Press" card in his hat's band but we don't see it).
The other two could be anything, but a Flamenco dancer? :\
One of them (both?) surely manages the McDuck estate. One may be a lawyer.

It has to be occupations that grew naturally out of their JW education.
Park Ranger was a great idea, but he would be wearing his uniform, not jsut
the hat. I guess the point here was not to suggest any particular occupation
for eithe of them, just to imply they were grown-ups, with different
occupations.
Still, an interesting topic of speculation. I like the Park Ranger idea a
lot.

As for the location, sigvald, that's a good question too.
Scottie McTerrier was in charge of the castle till 1948, when he died and
the jewel thief took his place.
I presume Scrooge found someone else to replace Scottie.
Now, where would he be buried? Dismal Downs *is* the land of his ancestors,
where his parents were buried (L&T). But he never really lived there, and
spent most of his life in the US (and all over the world), where his
remaining family lives, so Duckburg is definitely a possibility.

A not too joyful discussion, and probably very "fanboyish", but it was
interesting.

To paraphrase Arie:
Keep on quacking a long long time, all of you!
