100 years of Disney magic ??

Looks like Disney on Ice is a bit late.  The theme parks had their "100 
Years of  Magic" celebrations from late 2001 to January of this year. 
 They're referring to the birth of Walt Disney. (December 5, 1901) 
Although I felt they place far more emphasis on the characters than on 
the man himself.  I mean it's not like he popped out of the womb with a 
drawing of Mickey Mouse in his hand ...  I work in one of the parks and 
there are a lot of kids these days who don't even know who Walt was, and 
the "celebration" didn't do much to inform them.
