The comic fanzine Stripschrift reports: the Dutch city Almere will have a neighborhood with street names named after comic characters and comic creators. A.o. Marten Toonder, Hans G. Kresse, and Carol Voges. (The latter two also created Disney comics, but are more famous for their other comic work.)

Dutch comic connoisseur Kees Kousemaker reports: later, there will be more streets. In the most outer parts they'll also use names of non-Dutch comic maestros. Carl Barks and Franquin will certainly be amongst them.
