I feel just the same way. And the colors were not done by Barks! So
which coloring should be chosen to be the definitive one? The coloring
of the original U.S. edition, with its restricted color palette? The
computer coloring by Gladstone done for the Barks library? Any of the
bright-colored European colorings? The airbrush coloring of the
Celestial Arts volume? A new coloring with state-of-the-art computer
coloring?
