The Italian way to the life and Times of Scrooge McDuck

In the Yukon, from the gold-seekeers Scrooge sr. McDuck (called "Daddy
Scrooge") and "Oretta Paporetta", after the 1897 two twins were born:
the little Scrooge McDuck and his brother, the black sheep of the
family, since he's lavish as much his twin is a tightwad.
The first word pronounced by Scrooge is "dollar" and, when six months
old, he begins to show a silly attraction to the gold. In these days, a
strong competition with John Rockerducks starts.
Later, his sibling Papera ["female duck"] and Gedeon will born.
When 12 years old, Scrooge finds his first goldmine.
Nothing is known about the fate of his family: probably, the McDucks
move after the end of the gold rush in Canada.

The poor Scrooge comes back by boat in his native land. The captain pays
him with three coins: the first to touch his hand is the Number One
Dime. Found a job in the north, in the "Dark Forest", he meets an old
witch that puts him through a trial about generosity, successfully, and
that suggests him to save his first gain.
In this period, he meets Glittering Goldie.
When 18 years old, Scrooge receives from his dad a trunk, containing the
coins of their ancerstors. The magical aura showed later by them must
have confused his memories, since he remembers the deeds of his father
and his uncle [= Barks' stories set in XIX century] as he has lived
them. He decides to leave everything and take his chance.

In 1928 [date of the reprint, not original], Scrooge becomes an
university student and meets Brigitta McBrigde. To free himself from her
grasp, he gifts her an expensive hat of balaboo. Soon, he must have left
university.

In the thirties, Scrooge tries his fortune in Duckburg, selling
chestnuts, and meets Molly McGold. They open parallel activities, until
they earn their first million the same day. They decide to build
together their own Money Bins.
Scrooge commissions the construction to the father of John Rockerduck.
Because of an unlucky investment, Molly goes bankrupt and decides to
leave. Scrooge asks her hand in marriage, to make her stay, but she
refuses and breakes his heart.

Still in America, in 1940 Scrooge has earned his first billion, thanks
to a goldmine found in Tucson, Arizona.
In 1948, he reaches the 300 billion dollars target. He buys his hat in
Gold Town, where his sister livea. After more than thirty years, Scrooge
and "Papera" acts like strangers. They begin to go round with each other.
In the night of a 16 September, the two siblings risk to run over a
forsaken duck pup and decide to take him with them. They baptize him
Donald, and rebaptize themselves as "Uncle Scrooge" and "Grandma Duck",
since their age. The child lives with Grandma Duck in Quack Town, near
Duckburg, where Scrooge has his Money Bin.

When Donald is adult, Scrooge makes inquiries about him and discovers
that they're really relatives, even if we don't know how. Meanwhile,
Della sends his children to his cousin Donald, so the very history of
the ducks starts.

Finally, Gedeon McDuck moves to Duckburg and launches a newspaper.
