Here are the previews for August 2005 Disney comics from Previews Volume XV
#6:
Donald Duck and Friends #331 --- A Disney anthology book featuring various
stories that includes (since this appears in all of the monthly comic's
descriptions, I'll only show it once here) Carl Barks' classic ten-pager, "Camera
Crazy." Also featured are Mickey in "Gliquid," and Donald in "You Can Run But You
Can't Hide" and "Handy Duck." 7x10, 32 pages, FC. $2.95
Walt Disney's World of the Dragonlords GN --- By Byron Erickson and Giorgio
Cavazzano. An epic adventure featuring Uncle Scrooge, Donald, and Huey, Dewey
and Louie in which the Ducks are thrust into an alternate dimension where
humans lead a feudal existence, and are the slaves of a barbarian race of
dragon-riders. SC, 7x10, 176 pages, FC. $12.99
Mickey Mouse and Friends #280 --- Features three ten-page adventures,
including a vintage Paul Murry Mickey Mouse story ("The Case of the Vanishing
Bandit") and two modern tales featuring Donald Duck and Goofy. 7x10, 32 pages, FC.

Mickey Mouse Adventures #5 --- Stories featured include Mickey Mouse in
"Rodeo Ruckus," Donald Duck in "Brain Drain," and Mickey again in "The Forest that
Walks." SC, 6x9, 128 pages, FC. $7.95
Uncle Scrooge #345 --- Features "King Scrooge The First," Carl Barks' final
Scrooge story for Western Publishing. Reprinted for the first time since
Western gave up the Disney license! Also featured are two new Scrooge stories, a

Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #660 --- Featues chapters seven and eight of
the McGreal/Hedman/Feroli Mythos Island mini-series starring Minnie, Daisy,

The previews for Gemstone comics as far as story titles and author/artist is
pretty.... sparse this month. I guess the regular Previews writer took the
month off. Hope they're back next month, otherwise these previews are going to be
a lot less interesting and informational.
Let me commend Germstone on its $12.99 price for World of the Dragonlords.
Not only is that practically a steal compared to Gemstone's usual prices, but
it's even a bargain compared to the usual graphic novel prices from DC, Marvel,
etc.
And it's nice to see Gemstone continuing to publish Barks' lesser-known works
like "King Scrooge the First."
