Drusilla Question

Just got the following question from one of the readers of the Disney History blog. Would anyone be able to help?

[One of my favorite Disney comics is "Mickey and the Haunted House," which 
introduced Drusilla, one of Mickey's more unique enemies. I remember reading 
about an article about that story in a huge book on Mickey Mouse--the 
article postulated that Drusilla turned to crime after being rejected by the 
male-dominated chemistry community. Do you know of this article? If so, do 
you have a citation? I have never been able to find it!
