Cutty Sark damaged in fire

Hi all!

As the link shows, a fire engulfed the Cutty Sark. From other pictures I've 
seen, the ship looked like a fireball. But apparently the damage isn't as bad 
as feared. 50% of the ship's plankings had already been removed for restoration 
before the fire. Of what was left, only some of it has been damaged beyond 
repair.

I, like some/many of you, had a newfound knowledge/respect for the Cutty Sark 
after reading Don's "Cowboy Captain of the Cutty Sark." For that sentimental 
reason and for the preservation of history itself, I'm glad the ship came out 
of the fire pretty well.
