Dear all,
A big thank you from me also to everyone associated with creating this list and for contributing. For myself, the best/worst memory was when Carl Barks passed away. I had narrowly missed meeting him twice by 48 hours by randomly being in the right place at slightly the wrong time, so it was some comfort to know that through this list that all our best wishes and messages were being received by Carl. That is no small thing and an amazing example of the connectedness this list created.
Sometimes being a fan (or working in this industry) can be an isolating experience. This list was a big help to know that there were other people out there that felt the same way about Disney comics!
Cheers all,
Shaun

Per, Frank and all:

This list, first for the international community it fostered and secondarily for its spawning of the Inducks, has been invaluable to the perpetuation and preservation of Disney comics as an art form - an incredibly important accomplishment, Per.

(And Frank, and Harry, and anyone else reading. The DCML changed my life and career…)

It's in the spirit of our list, and of the Inducks, to keep the archive available. Some of us have archives of DCML digests that aren't accessible from the main archive now (I personally have 1992-1998); I wonder if we can add them to whatever eventually evolves?

Warm wishes, David
