Cuthbert Coot

Ah, I see that you (Danny) use data from Don Rosa's stories when
constructing your family tree. Then it's no wonder that you get the
same results as are in Don's tree, even though you haven't seen it.

OK, then I'm no longer surprised that you got the same results and
that you thought that was the only possible spot for Cuthbert in the
family tree, whereas I think he as a "cousin" could be almost
anywhere.

If it was a recent translation of WDC 55 you read, maybe the reason
the German translation said uncle was because the translator (is it
still Erika Fuchs?) gleaned at Don's tree.

I see nothing wrong with the Coot presence in Don's tree, but nothing
sacred about it either. It could be that way or it could be another
way. As so often it depends on what you take as fact. For me
anything Don or anyone else makes today isn't primary data, but just
theories, just like theories in a fanzine, on this mailing list or in
the back of somebody's head. They might be "correct", but they don't
get more correct just because they are printed in the comic books.
