Mad Dukes and Phantoms.

  In the story "House of Haunts"(US 63)by Carl Barks there is an old Haunted 
Castle in Duckburg.It was built by the Mad Duke of Duckburg.There is a 
picture of him in page 17.He is a duck.He must have lived in Duckburg after 
the death of Fenton Penworthy and before the arrival of Cornelious Coot.Who 
was he is there an explanation for his reference in this story?Is he related 
to the Ducks?
  In the story "Phantom of Notre Duck"there is an old cathedral in 
Duckburg.The old Duck who spented his life in it is a Scrooge McDuck 
look-alike.Who is he?How long has he lived there?Why?What happened to 
him?When did he die?Is he ever mentioned in another story?
  In Greece there are published many stories of Paperinik(called Phantom 
Duck)and a few of Paperinika(called Marvel Duck)which I happen to like.But 
in his first Paperinik story Donald inherits the Villa of Roses and the 
costume of Fantomius,an old outlaw who has vanished,persumed deceased.The 
outlaw was famous according to Huey.He stole from the rich and gave some 
money to the poor too.It is a reference to Fantomas.But who was he?When did 
he lived?Donald uses his suit without needing modifications.In various 
stories paintings of him appear.He looks very similar to Donald.In the first 
story of Daisy as Paperinika,not as a superheroine it's just a 
Carnival/Halloween costume,she mentions she is dressed like Fantomius 
girlfriend.Who was she?When did she live?When was Vila of the Roses live.
  It appears that Duckburg is more mysterious than appearing because I 
haven't found any answers.Any ideas?
