Moby Duck & company

Moby Duck

Captain of the seven seas.

His name is a pun on Moby Dick, the whale in Herman Melville's novel Moby Dick. Of course Moby Duck is not a whale, but on the contrary a whaler.

His first appearance was in A Whale of an Adventure in Donald Duck 112, written by Vic Lockman.

Porpy the Porpoise

Moby's pet porpoise.

Porpy appeared right from the beginning in the first Moby Duck story, mentioned above.

Dim-Witty

Moby's ship hand.

He first appeared in WDC 330 in a story written by Vic Lockman.
