Winnie the Pooh

A. A. Milne's classic teddy-bear. For general information on Pooh I refer to James Milne's The Page at Pooh Corner. The following is only about Pooh as a Disney comics character.

[From Harry Fluks:] In Holland, Winnie the Pooh is the main character of the monthly magazine Disneyland. This magazine is for very little children and usually contains two Pooh stories (panels with text below instead of in balloons) and a Disney Babies gag. Some of the Pooh stories were drawn by Jeroen Steehouwer. A lot of Pooh stories were written by Frank Jonker. [1995] an album (or graphic novel) was issued with a selection of the Pooh stories from Disneyland.

Winnie the Pooh appears as a sunday newspaper strip from June 25, 1978 to present (?). Some of the strips from 1982 and 1984 were reprinted by Gladstone in their early Walt Disney's Comics and Stories.

[From Henri Sivonen:] A Finnish Mac magazine (Macmaailma 9/94) says that Wallu (Harri Vaalio is his real name) has done ten Winnie the Pooh adventures for the Finnish Winnie the Pooh magazine. Well Macmaailma isn't a comic magazine so I don't know how accurate this information is. Accorting to my calculation Wallu draws/has drawn eight other comic series in addition to Pooh.
