Angel Rodriguez

This Spanish artist began to work for France (through the Comicup Studio) around year 1993. His Disney style was not very good at the beginning of his carrer (his stories looked a bit like Cardona) and was almost unrecognizable. One of the first stories he drew was done together with Tony Fernandez, according to the Comicup Studio. It turned out to be very inspired by the style of Daan Jippes, Carmen Perez and other Disney artists. However, after a few yaers of activity, he became a very good artist, and was the penciller of a long adventure (La nuit des clones). He also did many covers for various magazines (his Ducks are very appreciated), like Picsou, Mickey Jeux or Le Journal de Mickey (even if some of them were redrawn in order to fit Disney Europe's standards). He also worked for GP in Holland.
