Luciano Gatto
Born in Venice, May 31, 1934. Still living there (2001).
Gatto, like some other Italians like
Cavazzano or Cimino,
started inking Scarpa's pencils (around 1956). In
1958, he started pencilling on his own, with
Paperino e il ciliegio rabdomante
.
Other works
Gatto has worked on many other comics, a short list includes: Fix
and Foxi, Lupo, Prezzemolo, Topo Gigio, Dastardly & Muttley and
Pif.
