Vad ända in i glödheta är en Ankist?

Det var ju detta man satt och väntade på....
Nu har det alltså startats en diskussion om huruvida någon är Ankist eller inte. Jag råkar tillhöra en liknande mailinglista, HOUNDS-L, men där diskuterar vi icke ankism utan Sherlock Holmes.
För någon vecka sedan diskuterades där även vad som krävs för att man ska vara en "Sherlockian", och vi kom överens om att man borde ha läst åtminstone ett par av Conan Doyles historier för att kunna kalla dig det. Därför räcker det inte med att endast ha sett en film med Basil Rathbone eller Jeremy Brett för att kalla sig en Sherlockian. Några spridda citat:

"Well said. I have read ALL of Robert Parker's Spenser novels (27 or 28 of 'em?), ALL of McDonald's 
Travis McGee books, and ALL of Raymond Chandler's Phillip Marlowe novels. But I have not continuously

edited journals about them, and blathered on and on about them to both interested and uninterested parties. So I am
