>anything else Gladstone is publishing, you've got me as to what!)
[Special non-Don Rosa nor Willam Van Horn, all Carl Barks month]
Donald And Mickey #23 $1.50
---------------------------
This issue contains _The_Master_Rainmaker_, one of Carl Barks'
celebrated "mastery stories." Watch Donald descend, in ten pages,
from the world's greatest rainmaker to a social pariah, due to his
current tragic flaw: jealousy. Also featured is the first of 3-part
Mickey and Goofy epic, _Don't_Call_Me_Tut_, in another gag-filled
historical romp from the Disney Studios. [Yech - I thought we were
past this junk!] Recommended.
Donald Duck #284 $1.50
----------------------
_Rocketwing_Saves_The_Day_. Barks' 10-page classic involves Donald,
Daisy, Huey, Dewey, Louie, and a plucky pigeon named Rocketwing. Also
featured are 16 pages of _Donald_Duck_ newspaper strips from the '30's
by Al Taliaferro.
Uncle Scrooge Adventures #26 $2.95
----------------------------------
Special double-sized, 64 page issue featuring Carl Barks' renowned
Uncle Scrooge classic, _Back_To_The_Klondike_. [Well, I guess it
could be considered a Don Rosa tie-in :-) ] Because of the length
of this epic, it has not been run in a comic for many years.
Gladstone has decided not only to run the story in double-issue
format, but to add story pages that had been edited out of the
original printing! this issue is rounded out with a 12-page Danish
story and another Scrooge classic, _Uncle_Scrooge_And_Money_, by Tony
Strobl. Recommended.
