Politically Correct?

What happened to Moby Duck? His appearences in the comics have gotten 
fewer and fewer. I am linking this to the Greenpeace propaganda and
social awareness for whales.
Poor Moby was a whaler so they had to let him go.
How is that for politically correct? Poor Moby had never been seen 
hunting down a single whale, but on the basis of his profession, he
has been wiped out from the Disney universe.
