Please DO mail the Introduction List out when you get new introductions!  No
matter how long time a reader you are, you can't have read what hasn't been
written.  Also, I believe most folks who have to pay for their email will
prefer receiving all the introductions together rather than each new one
individually, as most such systems have a "per-message" component as most
significant in the cost; I think the way Mattias is doing it is great!
