Carl Barks Library Re-Inking

Can anyone shed some light on the re-inking of the Carl Barks Library
versions of "Darkest Africa" and "Race to the South Seas". According
to the credits in LICD 14, both stories were recreated by "Daan Jippes
and a team of other Dutch artists". However, it seems to me that
"Race to the South Seas" is a somewhat better recreation --- in quite
a few of the panels in "Darkest Africa" Donald does not quite look
like a Barks Donald.

Does anyone know the history of the recreations?

Thanks.

Greg Kay.
