I agree.  I'm not the oldest of the old collectors, but to me it's not a
pleasure to have "The Monarch of Medokia" (sp?) dragged out across so many
issues.  I first read this story in the early seventies, in a Disney
digest, and I preferred having the complete adventure, even with those
little-bitty panels.  ;-)

Of course, let's face the economics.  If I weren't inclined to buy every
issue of WDC&S anyway, I'd probably be buying it to complete the run of
"Monarch."  That's the economic basis under which a serial was originally
created, anyway.  Keep 'em coming back for the next chapter, right?
