The Daffy Duck "Super Snooper" cartoon is from 1952 and was directed by Robert McKimson. It's a take off on the hard-boiled detective movies (with Daffy as Duck Drake, Private Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat.) Nothing to do with super heroes. --Merlin Haas
