Do you mean the sigma, i.e., the third letter in the greek version of
Don's name, which looks a bit like "Pooa"?

Hellenizing one's name does not simply mean to make up a greek version
of it; it also means *adopting* it! Thus, if Don hellenized his name,
people of the future, reading old archives of this list, would have a
hard time figuring out who was that "Don Rosa" guy, to whom every one
kept referring! :-)
