I always have talked to animals just like they're
humans.  I've even had young children ask me, "Do
you really think he can understand you?" LOL, I
guess I must sound pretty sincere.

I'm also one of those people who will find a
cricket in the bathtub, and get a glass and piece
of paper and put it outside saying, "No, no -
you're not welcome in the house, go outside."  My
3 year old daughter is picking up on this and
learning respect for life, hopefully.
