New question

Hi all,
 i've got new simpler question to ask. what's the story behind DD wearing
the sailor suit? i tried to look it up on the net but still i cant find it.
Oh, and i read somewhere before that Lucas and Spielberg are also fascinated
by barks' works. i recently found out that Lucas "stole" an inspiration from
a Barks story, namely the Seven Cities of Cibola. What about Spielberg?
