It is from Almanacco Topolino 292 from April 1981, Topolino 292
is from July 1961, Rota was just 19 years old back then, and his
first story dates 10 years after.

A curiosity: This story when reprinted on Super Almanacco
Paperino in 1984 was a special publication in 3D.
